SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

ShowTunes Network is available for streaming ONLY with a dedicated ROKU ULTRA or APPLE TV™, 4k 64mg or equivalent streaming device (preconfigured & furnished by STN) 

The device/box must be connected to the internet via a plugged in ethernet cable connected directly into your router or modem. (Wi-Fi is not stable and could result in buffering or sputters during playback. 

Your quality of video definition may be affected by your download bandwidth speeds.  All shows are streamed in 1080HD, but are designed to equalize for best performance.  So your show may start at 1080HD and possibly drop down to 720p (Standard Def) or even 480p  if your bandwidth is struggling. This is more likely when you allow you customers full wi-fi access on busy nights.

Your venue must have reasonable internet bandwidth, with a minimum maintained (consistent) minimum download speed of 20 mbps. We recommend multiple prior speed tests - at different times of the day, during open business hours.  SPEEDTEST.NET 

Because each venue's Audio/Video system greatly differ from every other venue, each customer will responsible for the connection of the Apple 4K TV or ROKU ULTRA streaming box to your audio/video system monitors and speakers via HDMI cable (or converter accessories) to receive optimum audio and video streaming.  (HDMI to HDMI + 3.5m / RCA Audio Extractor)

In the event your venue has an older A/V system with RCA cables (Red, Yellow, White), there are inexpensive HDMI to AV cable converters you can purchase to split and convert the HDMI cable into separate RCA Video and Audio outputs to connect to your existing system. Including a combination of RCA Video composite connections with 3.5m audio connection.

While almost all venue A/V systems can readily accept HDMI inputs and provide synced streamed Audio and Video to your monitors and speakers, it is always wise to attempt to stream videos from Netflix or YouTube to make sure you have the minimum requirements to stream videos. Pre-testing with an Apple 4K TV or newer Roku Ultra is preferred, but you can also test with an internet connected laptop or computer connected to the internet, with the device/laptop/computer attempting to stream from Netflix, Vimeo, or YouTube.

We will be happy to provide you with a special "Test Link" of an actual 4 hour Show Tunes video show to confirm system compatibility and quality.. If your test pass muster without pauses, delays or loss of sync between the audio and video, you should have no issues with our Apple 4K TV or ROKU devices for streaming Show Tunes.

Streaming device will be pre-configured and sent Customer's Venue. With the exception of a few rare older Audio / Video system equipment configurations at some some venues, we will work with you to modify your newer existing Apple TV 4k or ROKU ULTRA streaming box.

All approved devices must be setup with a specific configuration to optimally stream all shows. Customers have the option of buying a pre-configured device directly from STN, or you can send us your existing device and will configure it for you and return it via USPS priority mail.

Customer will own their equipment, unless predetermined special conditions or promotions were applied.  Accessories such are miscellaneous cables, RCA converters, splitters or other accessories are the responsibility of the Customer..

All devices will be wiped clean with a Factory Reset and loaded with a specific configuration that cannot be modified. Additionally,  Customer will not be able to add additional apps to the device for other users or purposes.

Unfortunately YES... especially with venues that open their wifi to all customers.

Our shows generally require a minimum consistent download speed of 20Mbps.

With that speed, your shows will be played in Hi-Def without any buffering or delay. But in the event your venue bandwidth drops, the shows will continue to play, but they will automatically be dropped from Hi-Def to Standard definition. (i.e. 1080p to 720p).  Or in some cases where bandwidth is maxed out, your shows might drop to a standard TV, or cell phone quality 420p.

To optimally stream, each streaming device/box must be specifically configured and dedicated to ShowTunes.Net.  The configuration requires a ShowTunes Apple ID, which you will not have access to change or modify.  Your device must always have LOCATION SERVICES enabled in order for the system to work.  The location settings will be pre-configured to your venue premises.  Devices moved away from the venue will automatically temporarily block and stop all future Show Tunes streaming ability until the device is reconfigured by STN (Show Tunes Network).  Internet services, or video streams routed through any type or form of VPN service, are not permitted, nor will your system work properly.

To optimize streaming quality and streaming speeds, only the minimum necessary Apps will be installed on Apple TV device.  No other apps can be added without first contacting STN discuss possible consequences of any additional apps you may want to install on the device.
